TheDashboardFactory

Dashboards you can talk to.

Not another static report. A dashboard built around your data and your questions, where asking for a new view is a sentence, not a change request.

01 / Capabilities

What these dashboards do.

Every dashboard is built around your data and your questions. These are the building blocks.

Built around your questions

We start from the decisions you make each week, not from a template. Every chart has to earn its place.

Ask in plain language

Ask the dashboard a question the way you would ask a colleague. You get a chart or a number back, not a query editor.

Connects to your data

PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, Excel or a REST API: we build against the systems you already run.

Rebuilds itself

Need a different cut of the numbers? Ask for the view and the dashboard reshapes itself. No ticket, no waiting.

Your data stays put

The dashboard reads from your sources under access rules you set. Where AI is involved, we agree exactly what it may see before we build.

Surfaces what changed

Instead of twenty tiles fighting for attention, the dashboard points at what moved and what needs a decision.

02 / A worked example

From Monday-morning spreadsheet work to one live view.

Say your sales team tracks orders in one system and targets in a spreadsheet. Every Monday someone spends the morning stitching them into a report that is stale by Wednesday.

  1. 01

In discovery we map where the numbers live and which questions the team actually asks of them each week.

  2. 02

We agree a fixed price and delivery date, then connect the order system and the spreadsheet.

  3. 03

A working dashboard goes in front of the team in the first build cycle; their feedback shapes the next one.

  4. 04

At handover the team can ask for new views themselves, with documentation and a training session included.

Outcome

The Monday report builds itself, and the morning goes into acting on the numbers instead of assembling them.

03 / Common questions

Questions we hear a lot.

01What do you need from us to start?

Access to the data behind the dashboard and an hour with the people who will use it. Discovery covers the rest; you do not need a written specification up front.

02Can it work with our Power BI or Excel reports?

Yes. Sometimes the right answer is to replace a manual report, sometimes it is to connect to what you already have, including Power BI and Excel. We recommend whichever is less disruptive.

03Is our data sent to an AI provider?

Only if we agree it should be. The dashboard reads from your sources under access rules you set, and before we build anything we are explicit about which parts, if any, use an external AI service.

04What happens after handover?

Every project includes 30 days of support. After that, hosting and maintenance are optional and quoted separately. The dashboard itself is yours either way.
